Galaxy Tab S11 & S8 Users Get Early Access to Samsung One UI 8.5
Galaxy Tab S11 and S8 series users can test Samsung’s One UI 8.5 beta. Builds discovered in India, Europe, Korea, and more ahead of official release.

Samsung has begun the testing of its One UI 8.5 beta on the Galaxy S25 series, which was first launched for the Galaxy S25 series at the beginning of this month. Galaxy S8 and S11 series have been spotted with test builds meaning that Samsung is most likely to widen its beta test very soon to include several tablet models.
There are rumors going around on X that the Galaxy Tab S8 Fan Edition series has received test builds with the numbers X900XXU9EYL1 and X900OXM9EYL1. These versions have been spotted on Samsung's servers in the countries of India, Korea, Europe, and Turkey.
The Galaxy Tab S11 series is also being tested at the same time. The Wi-Fi version of the Tab S11 Ultra is now detected with the build number X930XXU3AYL6, while the Wi-Fi model of the Tab S11 is listed with the build number X730XXU3AYL6. Moreover, there are some reports suggesting that Samsung is also testing One UI 8.5 on older tablets like Galaxy Tab S10, S10 FE, S9, and S9 FE.
Samsung would have been able to sell the Galaxy Tab S11 series in India this September starting at Rs. 80,999. Android 16-based One UI 8 runs it already. It has an 11-inch display and the Ultra variant has a 14.6-inch display. Both gadgets use the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor. Battery capacities vary from model to model: the standard Tab S11 comes with an 8,400mAh battery while the Ultra has an 11,600mAh battery.
The Tab S11 series is expected to be one of the first - if not the very first - to get the stable One UI 8.5 update next year. The beta rollout for Samsung Galaxy S25 devices started simultaneously in Korea, the US, UK, Germany, India, and Poland.
